A conversion of an old commercial warehouse into modern urban residential spaces demanded heavy-duty floors capable of handling exposed concrete elements, steel supports, and an active city lifestyle.

• The Challenge: Concrete floor slabs in loft spaces trap dampness and run significantly colder than wood frames, introducing acoustic echoes and potential rot hazards if standard wood installation steps are taken.

• The Solution: We applied a commercial-grade vapor barrier and acoustic rubberized backing system. The wire-brushed texture on these deep matte oak planks serves double duty: hiding minor surface debris while creating a rich textural contrast next to raw brickwork.
