Hand-Scraped Artisan Hickory in Rosewood

A new custom-built property in Rosewood needed an alternative to sterile, ultra-modern flat surfaces. The goal was to inject dynamic grain personality, organic ridges, and hand-worked texture across a sweeping kitchen and main dining pavilion.

• The Challenge: Hickory possesses a very dense, stubborn grain pattern. If individual plank tones aren't expertly blended during the unboxing phase, you can end up with unsightly dark patches and light streaks grouped together.

• The Solution: Our installers performed a total dry-lay across the entire floor plan beforehand. This allowed us to artfully balance the natural cream tones and deep chocolate grain lines uniformly across focal viewing areas before final adhesion.
