Montgomery Place estates are known for wide footprints and rustic charm. This project covered a massive 4,000-square-foot main level, linking an open kitchen, expansive dining hall, and sunken living rooms.

• The Challenge: Subfloor heights varied noticeably across historical layout expansions, creating dynamic drop-offs between rooms that threatened simple straight plank pathways.

• The Solution: Our team built up specialized framing transitions using custom-milled leveling wedges. By pairing this with deep-toned Smoked Oak, we engineered gradual, flush transitions that feel cohesive across the entire sprawling bungalow footprint.
